There are only 16 days remaining in the regular season. Be sure to setup as many matches as you can to try to earn as many WINS as possible to improve your standings. All the latest match results, schedules, division standings, and SUPER BRAWL IV brackets have been posted around the site.
All live events have been completed as well. Congrats again to JAY19000 for winning the final event last Sunday, FALL BRAWL III. He earned an additional win for each of his fighters in the standings.
The next major event is, of course, SUPER BRAWL IV. For the newer members, this is the final event of the season and the tournament that the entire season builds up to. In each of the previous 3 seasons, each season concluded with one grand tournament. The first two SUPER BRAWL tournaments actually included all members and their fighters. Season rankings were used to seed all the figthers. However, at the end of last season in accordance with the new schedule-format, only the top ranking fighters advanced to SUPER BRAWL. Similarly, only the top 24 fighters in each division will be advancing to the tournament this season. Since all fighters are ranked by number of wins, try to play as many matches as possible in these final two weeks to possibly qualify for one of the tournaments, or just improve your seeding. The division winners will face each other in the finals of each tournament. The winner of the Gold tournamant (composed of the top 8 fighters in each division) will be crowned the 16th Grand Champion of the SFCCL.
In the final week of the season, I will reach out and contact every member in the league just to be sure they know that the SUPER BRAWL tournament has begun and the regular season is over. If I do not get a reply back from the members advancing to the tournament, their matches will be forfeited at the end of the time limit per round. Each round of the tournament will have no more than a 2-week time limit. If a match is not played by the end of that time limit, the match will be forfeited. By contacting all members, I will know who is ready to play and who isn't. Playing in online tournaments is great, but can also be a real headache if just one member is MIA. Also, 14 days is plenty of time for two members to setup a time to play a 10-minute match. The freedom of playing at your own pace is no longer available when we start SUPER BRAWL IV. So be ready!
Until next week (only 2 more Weekly Roundups until the end of the season)......good luck!
