The one place where I might need some help with this League is a 'Special Events Coordinator' type person. My schedule is limited on any given day, so I can't get online as much as I would like to. Because of that, we haven't had anymore Official Special Events, like another 2v2 Tournament. If anyone is interested in that role with the SFCCL, let me know. All that is required is that you run a Special Event once every other month at most. I would give you all the instructions for the event & then you would basically run the event in my abscence. Then, report back to me the results. Just requires some free time, which is more than I have unfortuantely.
Sorry, no pay involved. Just the sense of satisfaction of a job well done along with the pleasure of dealing with some difficult people! j/k
To quote one of my favorite shows:
"She laughed when I told her about the pay".
"She laughed, huh? She must have wet herself when you told her about the benefits."
Props to anyone who can identify the show! Some have volunteered already, and I will let them know.
I am looking for a couple of people instead of just one as I don't want to burden just one person. With a couple of people involved, it will make it easier for everyone involved. The only real requirements is that you be part of the League, naturally, and that you've been in the League for a while. The time-served with the League is a good way to determine the more dependable, committed members.
With the help of the Special Events Coordinators, I plan to open the League to more official events that will have impact on the divisions and rankings, such as prizes awarded to the winners that include the right to challenge anyone in the League in an official ranked match - winner takes the higher ranking, loser falls to the lower ranking. I have several ideas for Events other than 2v2 Tournaments, and with the help of the S.E. Coordinators, perhaps come up with more ideas for Events. I fully expect the SFCCL to become more active league with more Live Events with the help of the S.E. Coordinators.
Thanx for all those interested.
